Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and an encrypted password. Authentication is managed through Supabase.
Usage data: We may collect anonymized usage metrics such as pages visited and features used to improve our service.
Payment information: When subscription payments become available, payment processing will be handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full billing details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data handling.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the prediction service
- Authenticate your account and manage sessions
- Process subscription payments (via Stripe)
- Track prediction performance and leaderboard standings
- Send service-related communications (e.g., password resets)
- Improve our models and user experience
4. Cookies & Sessions
We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session (via NextAuth.js). These are strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third-party services:
- Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
- Stripe — Payment processing (coming soon)
- API-Sports — Odds and sports data feeds
- Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and SSL/TLS security
Each service has its own privacy policy governing data they process on our behalf.
6. Data Security
Passwords are hashed before storage. All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS through Cloudflare. We follow reasonable security practices but cannot guarantee absolute security of any internet transmission.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent at any time by closing your account
9. Children
Our service is not directed to anyone under the age of 21. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Prediction Engine, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Prediction Engine provides AI-powered sports predictions for MLB and NBA games, including moneyline, spread, totals, and player prop projections. Predictions are generated by machine learning models (XGBoost, RandomForest) trained on historical data.
3. Age Requirement
You must be at least 21 years of age to use this service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
4. Betting & Gambling Disclaimer
Important Notice
- All predictions are provided for entertainment and informational purposes only.
- Prediction Engine does not guarantee the accuracy of any prediction. Past model performance does not guarantee future results.
- We are not responsible for any financial losses incurred from betting or wagering based on our predictions.
- We do not operate a sportsbook, accept wagers, or facilitate gambling in any way.
- You are solely responsible for your own betting decisions and for complying with all applicable gambling laws in your jurisdiction.

5. Subscriptions & Payments
Prediction Engine offers a free trial period and paid subscription plans. Current pricing: $5/week or $15/month. Prices are subject to change with notice.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the selected interval until you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute our predictions or data
- Attempt to reverse-engineer our models or algorithms
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the service infrastructure
7. Intellectual Property
All prediction models, algorithms, data analysis, and content on Prediction Engine are our proprietary property. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the service without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
Prediction Engine is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to financial losses from betting activities.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, without prior notice or liability.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
